Product Development Specialist

The Product Development Specialist will perform the following duties:

Assist with product design and development processes from concept to completion
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to design products
Help through the development process of pieces, accessories, etc
Develop an understanding of business categories within TOV and the target consumers and customers
Stay up to date with current trends within the industry

This role will work primarily with the Chief Designer as a liaison for the creative direction between the head office and all of the company’s developers and manufacturers. They will be responsible for compiling and presenting designs, gathering and curating inspiration, and executing the development of each with teams in China, Vietnam, India and more.

While technical CAD or InDesign skills are not required for this position, the candidate must possess a strong visual sense and the ability to present and render clear product visions. Half of this job will be on the creative track, and the other half of this job will be operational coordination with the development team.

Our Requirements:

What we are looking for:

At least 3 years of experience within Product Design
Professional experience within the furniture industry
Professional experience designing products from concept to completion stage
Excellent creative, organizational and communication skills
Excellent time management skills as this is not a typical 9-5 and the ideal candidate will work with multiple teams in different time zones
